Biggest Problem Known To Man

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Matt. 11:28-30

One can be stressed or depressed and not know it. I’ve heard that a good number of people when rescued from abusive relationships return to the same situation. It makes me reflect on the children of Israel who voted to return to slavery in Egypt shortly after God miraculously delivered them. It is a sad situation to be sick, lost or be in danger and not know it. Those who know what they are dealing with are already halfway toward finding solution.

The biggest problem that has confronted man from the time of Adam till today is the problem of Sin. Sin is a huge and crushing burden that has worn out every human being. We are slaves to sin and in desperate need of deliverance and rest. Sadly, many people do not think that sin is their major problem, so they are not seeking for deliverance. There are those who acknowledge sin is a problem but think there are other options to resolve the problem.

Jesus Christ is our sin Bearer and has taken the initiative to invite us to come to Him and be relieved of our sin burden and get some rest – rest for our souls. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are carrying a heavy burden you may not be aware of. Come and find rest in Him today.
