FRIDAY 1ST
Praise God for the privilege and opportunity that He has given unto us to serve Him in 2020 and to see this new year of 2021. Pray that this year will be fruitful and that we will live do his will always to the glory and honour of His name.
SATURDAY 2ND
The Lord has used SIM to offset the medical bills of EMS Missionaries at Bingham University Teaching Hospital to the tune of ₦2.5 million, praise God!
NOTE: EMS PRAYER AND FASTING DAY
FIRST (1ST) MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH IS TO BE OBSERVED INTERNATIONALLY AS EMS PRAYER AND FASTING DAY. THEREFORE, ALL EMS ARMS, MISSIONARIES, OFFICE STAFF, PRAYER PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS SHOULD PLEASE ENDEAVOR TO JOIN THE EMS INTERNATIONAL HEAD OFFICE IN PRAYERS. WE JOIN FAITH AND TRUST GOD IN ONE ACCORD WITH BRETHREN AROUND THE WORLD FOR:
- A STEADY AND FRUITFUL GROWTH OF THE WORK OF MISSIONS,
- PEACE AND THE SALVATION OF NATIONS,
- FOR REVIVAL AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH OF THE CHURCH.

SUNDAY 3RD
Praise the Lord for raising additional new supporters in New Karu DCC, ask the Lord to open His doors of abundant blessings to them to enable them fulfill their pledge to support the work of missions.
MONDAY 4TH
Praise God, a plot of land was donated by a non ECWA member to ECWA to build a church at EMS Prayer House Durbi in Jos DCC, the individual being an architect also designed the proposed church building and supervised the foundation laying. He also promised to contribute financially to the noble task.
TUESDAY 5TH
Thank God for a donation of one million Naira by African Services towards the building of a female hostel in EMS Children School Lakweme Gombe state. The money has since been put into use for the designated project praise God!
WEDNESDAY 6TH
Thank God for the success of the seminar organized for EMS medical staff and for safety granted to all participants back to their destinations.
THURSDAY 7TH
Appreciate God for answered prayers, the Lord has raised two additional new supporters for the South East Region, may his name be praised.
WEEK TWO – FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS
He is your praise and He is your God, who has done these great and awesome things for you which your eyes have seen. Deuteronomy 10:21
FRIDAY 8TH
EMS MANAGEMENT Pray for God’s grace and direction to the management of EMS in the New Year, especially our new director who has taken over as the head of this organization, ask the Lord to use him mightily to coordinate the affairs of EMS to propagate the gospel to every nook and cranny of the world.
SATURDAY 9TH
NORTH WEST REGION Pray for the newly elected executives of Kaduna South DCC, that God will give them passion for the work of missions through EMS of ECWA.
SUNDAY 10TH
CENTRAL REGION Praise the Lord for the new converts recorded in Kaffi and Kwali DCCs and for the new convert in Shambuy Prayer House who is facing persecution from his parents, ask the Lord to uphold and strengthen their faith in Him.
Pray for open doors of blessings to our supporters, many are finding it difficult to remit their pledges of support.
MONDAY 11TH
EMS SUPPORTERS/PARTNERS Pray for God’s blessings upon our numerous SUPPORTERS/PARTNERS in the work of spreading the gospel of salvation. Ask the Lord to make 2021 a fruitful year to all of them through his mighty power.
TUESDAY 12TH
EMS STAFF Pray that all EMS staff will experience God’s grace, peace and abundant blessings in the year 2021 even as they strive to do his will of fulfilling the mandate of the great commission.
WEDNESDAY 13TH
EMS SCHOOLS An anonymous donor from ECWA Good News Minna, Minna DCC has donated ₦50, 000 for netting of windows and replacement of damaged louvres at EMS Children School Jos hostel, praise God. Pray for support to engage more teachers and other personnel for the EMS schools.
WEEK THREE – FOCUS IS ON EMS HOME MISSION FIELDS
Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18 (NIV)
THURSDAY 14TH
EMS TRAINING UNIT Pray for the various seminars and trainings for missionaries and other EMS staff scheduled for 2021. Ask the Lord to provide the funds and other resources that will be needed to organize and successfully execute the plans of the unit.
FRIDAY 15TH
ECWA OUTREACH MINISTRY: Praise God for the great things he is doing through EOM, many success stories have been recorded last year. Pray that God will continue to steer the ministry in the right direction to do even greater exploits for his kingdom this year.
SATURDAY 16TH
SOUTH WEST REGION: Praise God for keeping all our missionaries in the region safe from COVID-19, there also has been no report of any mishaps to any of our missionaries in their travels from one destination to the other throughout 2020, to God be the glory.
SUNDAY 17TH
SOUTH NORTH EAST Praise God for a successful surgery on the wife of Kaltungo DCC coordinator, pray for total healing to her. Pray for grace and courage to a Muslim girl from EMS station Shellen in Gongola DCC who gave her life to Christ, through her conversion another lady also gave her life to Christ, ask the Lord to uphold them in the faith.
MONDAY 18TH
EMS MEDICAL UNIT Pray for our patients in the clinics and at Bingham University Teaching Hospital and in other health facilities, for God’s divine healing upon them.
TUESDAY 19TH
SOUTH EAST REGION Pray for positive response from those who heard the gospel ask the Lord to save Abdulmumuni and Tasi’u Salihu from Lokpa mission station.
Pray for open doors for funds to enable Ugbawka mission station fix the windows of the church.
WEDNESDAY 20TH
FAR NORTH WEST REGION Praise God for His divine healing upon ourm embers in Zuru area. Our missionary in Kebbi DCC was involved in an accident but is getting better praise God!
Thank God for an additional new supporter for the region, continue to pray for more supporters for Kebbi and Sokoto DCCs and for Zuru region.
THURSDAY 21ST
MID-CENTRAL REGION Pray for open doors for funds to meet crucial needs in the following prayer houses; Kitsirin prayer house in Damakasuwa DCC needs the sum of ₦150,000 to buy a piece of land for the church, Kan Zabuwa Prayer House needs 10 bags of cement for plastering of the pastorium, while Tudun Wada Prayer House in Gidan Waya urgently needs roofing materials to repair the church that was destroyed by the Fulani.
FRIDAY 22ND
MID-CENTRAL REGION: In the midst of challenges faced in 2020 our missionaries in the region reached out to over a thousand people, 17 gave their lives to Christ while 71 rededicated their lives to God. Pray that the Lord will sustain and uphold their faith in him.
SATURDAY 23RD
NORTH CENTRAL REGION: Praise God for ECWA Mangun in Mangu DCC, who invited the missionary they’re supporting and his wife during the EMS Second Mission Week, the church has also pledged to support another missionary this year, praise God!
WEEK FOUR: FOCUS ON CROSS-BORDERS MISSION FIELDS
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 1

SUNDAY 24TH
CROSS BORDERS CRITICAL NEEDS Pray for the new EMS alternative fund raising, that it will be fully understood and accepted by all ECWA churches and members. This alternative fund raising will go a long way in our cross borders work.
MONDAY 25TH
GHANA Thank God for the improvement in Gainue’s health condition, he came to the fellowship trusting God for healing from an ailment and the Lord manifested his power, the man felt better, praise God! Pray for God’s intervention in the issue of a woman who is a member of the church in Ghana, they are going through marital problems with her husband and she is considering divorce.
TUESDAY 26TH
MALAWI Praise God for the success of the seminar held for the key leadership of ECWA Malawi. Keep praying for the church in Midima as they trust God for funds to settle payments for the piece of land the church is using.
WEDNESDAY 27TH
GAMBIA Thank God for the reopening of schools and places of worship in the Gambia which were hitherto closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pray for funds needed for the purchase of additional furniture for ECWA Academy and for the construction of a permanent classroom block to accommodate Nursery 3 as well as the primary unit of the school.
THURSDAY 28TH
BENIN REPUBLIC Praise God for his sustaining grace upon our missionaries in Benin Republic and for His healing power upon Mrs. Comfort Sodji and her daughter Salome who were both hospitalized due to illness
FRIDAY 29TH
NIGER REPUBLIC PraythatthechurchesinNigerRepublicwillcontinuetoexperienceGod’sgrace, love and peace in all aspects. Pray that they will have a better understanding of the word. Pray for Seidou and Boubakar for God to increase their hunger and thirst to know him.
SATURDAY 30TH
TOGO Thank God for the safety He granted to Rev.Azariah and his family on their final return back to Nigeria. Pray for God’s grace and wisdom to Rev. and Mrs. Amane Bodering who will soon set foot in the Togo mission field to replace the Azariahs, ask the Lord to use them mightily to do great exploits for his kingdom.
MONDAY 31ST
Pray that the power of God will be manifested across all EMS Cross Border mission fields in 2021 and the efforts of our missionaries in these fields will bear lasting fruits for the kingdom of God.
