God’s Promises Are True

by

“God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” Num. 23:19

None of us has been able to keep every promise we made no matter how sincere and honest we are. Sometimes it is a character issue but other times it is our inability to control the outcome. We are limited in many areas and our best intentions are hampered by other factors. God is not a man, and this should cheer us up. He is God who created everything and therefore controls all. So, when God speaks or promises anything, there is no circumstance that can alter, block or delay what He intends to do. God is all powerful, all knowing and present everywhere and is not bound by time or space. Therefore, everything He says happens exactly as and when He wants it. It is God’s inherent character to be truthful and faithful. Therefore, we can count on every word or promise He makes.

God has spoken and made a lot of promises that concern you in the Bible. Read and claim the promises for yourself.
