Promises for You

by

Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to Israel failed, everyone was fulfilled. Jos. 21:45.
Promises for You

Joshua knew the promises God made to Israel from the time they left Egypt and entered the Promised Land. He confirmed that God fulfilled every promises He made. The Bible contends thousands of promises God made to humanity and they can be grouped into different categories. But that is not our purpose today. Our focus is on the faithfulness and trustworthiness of our God.

A review of God’s performance regarding His promises gives Him a 100% score. He cannot score 99% and still be God. His character, power and ability will be questioned because of the 1% short fall. God is perfect in every as Matthew 5:48 confirms. Evidently every promise of God that has come to maturity has been fulfilled and certainly the remaining ones will be fulfilled when the time comes.

One will think that with such a track record everyone will believe in God and take His promises seriously. Unfortunately, this is not the case. While many are ignorant of the promises, others just don’t believe. This is the work of the evil one who puts blinders on people. The promises of forgiveness of sins, reconciliation with God, eternal life, prayers answered and even guidance and supply of our needs in 2020 are promises we should be excited about and trust God to fulfill in our lives. Read the Bible for yourself, see and claim the promises for you.
