But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. 2 Thess. 3:3
When we can control a situation, we have no worries at all. But when that is not the case, we become anxious. People can become so worried that they develop a stress disorder. Sometimes our experiences in life make us think that God is like us with mood swings. God controls every situation, and the good news is that He does not have to share time between you and others. You have His full attention 24/7. God’s faithfulness to us is not because we are right or earned it. It is His character to be faithful. He promises to strengthen and protect us from the evil one. We need strength because God wants us to fight the good fight and resist the Evil one. God guarantees protection for us by not allowing the trials we face to be above the strength He gives us. So, we come through our wars victoriously with bruises from the battles fought and won. Nothing can be more awesome than this!
