You will discover some of her characteristics: Approachable (Vs. 17): The servants could relate to Abigail but not Nabal. Prompt (Vs. 18): She was no procrastinator at all. Wise (Vs. 18, 19, 28-31): She knew what to do, like packaging supplies for David and his men, knew the right time to tell Nabal the imminent danger he was facing, and advised David to stay guilt-free. Respect (Vs. 23): Though a very wealthy woman, she showed respect to David. Intercessor (Vs. 24, 28): She took her husband’s blame on herself, just as Jesus did for our sins. Prophetic (Vs. 28, 30): She spoke confidently about David’s future. Humble (Vs. 41): Willing to be the servant of David’s servants. Faith. Beauty. Etc. Find out more and imitate Abigail.
