When we are thankful for what God has done for us, the world takes notice, as happened to the Israelites, “When the Lord restored the fortunes of Zion, we were like those who dreamed. Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nation, “The Lord has done great things for them” (Ps. 126:1-2 The Message). Celebrating God’s goodness with excitement will certainly get the attention of those around you. When you declare that God has done it, people will agree with you even if they do not believe in God. Daily, each of us has encounters with God that should make us rejoice, shout, and testify of His goodness. He woke you up today, gave you a sound mind, provided, protected you, and so on. When last did people see you excited about what God has done in your life? When last did an unbeliever agree that God is indeed good to you? Rejoicing, laughter, and praise are contagious! Who have you infected recently through the joy that is you?
