WEEK ONE-FOCUS ON PRAISE/THANKSGIVING
“ Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness”. Ps. 150:2.NIV
FRIDAY 1ST Praise the Lord for His sustaining grace on EMS staff through the first quarter of the year. Thank God for all we have being able to achieve so far in the year. The harvest of souls in our various field, financial blessings despite economic crises has proving God’s faithfulness to His work in our Hands.
SATURDAY 2ND Worship God for His increasing Grace on Pastor Thomas Joshua’s ministry in Burkina Faso, and for the 18 Fulanis with whom he is starting a fellowship group; Pray for God’s sustaining grace on these Fulanis.
SUNDAY 3RD Ascribe Praise to God for his fruitfulness and success of the Coordinators seminar that was held last month; Magnify Him for His divine protection during the program and for Journey mercy granted to all participants and resource persons.

FIRST (1ST) MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH IS TO BE OBSERVED NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY AS EMS PRAYER AND FASTING DAY. ALL EMS ARMS, MISSIONARIES, OFFICE STAFF, PRAYER PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS SHOULD PLEASE ENDEAVOR TO JOIN THE EMS INTERNATIONAL HEAD OFFICE IN PRAYERS AS WE TRUST GOD TO BE JOINING FAITH IN ONE ACCORD WITH BRETHREN AROUND THE WORLD IN PRAYERS FOR A STEADY AND A FRUITFUL GROWTH OF EMS, PEACE AND THE SALVATION OF NATIONS, AND FOR REVIVAL AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH OF THE CHURCH. OUR COPERATE PRAYER TIME AT THE HEAD OFFICE, IS 8-9AM, 12-1PM, AND 4-5PM RESPECTIVELY. YOU CAN JOIN US IN PRAYERS WHEREVER YOU MAY BE AT THOSE TIMES OR MAKE OUT TIME OF YOUR OWN CONVENIENCE PLEASE AS YOU ARE LED TO BY GOD. JUST BE SURE TO PRAY ALONG AS YOU FAST.
MONDAY 4TH Praise God for his increasing blessings upon all our supporters and their families, and for His grace upon them to be committed despite the current financial challenges in the world, especially in Nigeria.
TUESDAY 5TH Praise the Lord for granting the EMS Management Team, Office staff/drivers, field missionaries and their families favor and sufficient grace, sound health, strength and protection in their travels and ministries through the first quarter of the year.
WEDNESDAY 6TH Thank God for the unleashing of leadership capacity for EMS leaders, staff in the office and in the fields. Pray that this leadership capacity will be sustained.
THURSDAY 7TH Praise God for the safe delivery of Mrs. Lydia the wife of Pastor John Gad who gave birth through C.S after Five miscarriages; appreciate God for the provision of about ₦120, 000 for her medical bills; Pray for God’s blessings on the persons He used to meet this need.
FRIDAY 8TH Praise God For the safety of our missionaries in Agatu land during the Fulani crisis with the indigenes. Pray for God’s intervention over the lingering misunderstanding between the Agatu Tribe and the Fulani Tribe in Benue, North-Central of Nigeria.
SATURDAY 9TH NORTH EAST, GOMBE: – Thank God, for His provision towards the completion of the EMS Regional Coordinator’s house as previously prayed and trusted God for. Pray for God’s increasing blessing on all our supporters from this region.
WEEK TWO-FOCUS ON EMS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE AND HOME MISSION FIELDS
“Woe unto me if I preach not the gospel” I Cor.9:16
SUNDAY 10TH Pray for God’s strength for Pastors and EMS Missionaries, that Christ will continue to dwell in their hearts by faith; that they should have and increase in an in-depth
understanding of God’s love and lead in His love. Pray that they be filled to the measure of the fullness of God. Pray against the spirit of slothfulness in any pastor and missionary. Also, pray for fruitfulness as we reach out to people this month.
MONDAY11TH CENTRAL REGION-GARKI: Pray that the Lord should sustain the 70 new converts won to the Lord in the month of February2016 during various evangelistic outreaches
in this region.
MID-EAST-LAFIA:-Pray for provision of funds for Church buildings/Pastorium in these mission stations: Shawai, Massange,Njida Sarki, Endehu,Oboru, and Zaki-biam.
TUESDAY 12TH CITY MINISTRIES OF EMS: – Pray for Iliya Ikre one of the boys in the ministry who was knocked down by a car and he sustained fracture. Pray for God to provide ₦300, 000 to foot his bills.
Pray for God’s increasing grace on one of our Muslim convert and for God’s provision for a habitable accommodation for him.
EMS MEDICAL UNIT: Pray for God’s healing grace on all EMS Field missionaries and their family members who are suffering from one ailment or the other. Pray for provision of medical supplies that will enhance the medical care for missionaries.
WEDNESDAY 13TH FARNORTH REGION- MALUMFASHI: Pray for Gods healing on Reverend Sa’idu Hashimu who has been diagnosed with hernia for quick recovery. Pray for the provision of building materials for Sharboyi, Danhabi, Baran Gwaje, G/babe, and Dayi EMS stations in Kano.
FAR – NORTH-WEST REGION – KALGO:-Pray for God’s healing on Mrs. Dina M. Garba and Mrs. Hassan S. Yusuf who are currently struggling with ill health in their mission stations.
THURSDAY 14TH NORTH-WEST REGION-KADUNA: Thank God for the successful burial of late Pastor Ezra Boka. Pray for God’s comfort and encouragement for his family.
MID-CENTRAL-KAGORO: -Praise God for the foundation laying of Randa clinic at Kwasam in Kaduna state. Pray for more financial provision for the completion of the project.

FRIDAY 15TH SOUTH-WESTREGION -ILORIN: Pray for the Lord to bring upon ECWA Churches in this region a fresh wave of revival towards holiness and fulfilling the great commission mandate.
SOUTH-EASTREGION -UMUAHIA: Thank God for His deliverance on Pas. Sunday Danladi and his family from a snake attack in their apartment; also pray for God’s healing on Rev. C. Oleka who has being struggling with his health for the past three months.
SATURDAY 16TH SOUTH NORTH EAST, TARABA: Pray for God’s provision towards the purchase of church lands in Lappo, Gurgu, Maisamari, Kogin Baba, M-Kunini, Damare and Binari mission stations.
NORTH EAST REGION -GOMBE: Pray for Waja, Bore, and Kume DCCs, they are trusting God for financial resources to meet their missionaries’ pressing needs.
NORTH CENTRAL-JOS: The Lord is faithful to His work in our Hands; our long time prayers for the Church building of Nda prayer house is now a “thanksgiving”. Praise God for his provision towards this need.
WEEK THREE-FOCUS ON CROSS BOARDERS MISSION FIELDS
"I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent." Luke 4:43-44 NIV.
SUNDAY 17TH USA: Thank God for his increasing grace on Rev. Sunday Bwanhot and Rev. Joshua Bogunjoko alongside other ministers who are selflessly laboring in the U.S Mission stations. Pray that their labor will yield lasting fruits to the glory of God.
ISREAL: Pray for the fruitfulness of the work of EMS in Israel; Pray that the Lord will aid all messianic Jews whether in Israel or in exile to stand in the gap for Israel’s current leader and for the spiritual growth of all Israeli Christians.
MONDAY 18TH NIGER REPUBLIC: Thank God for a successful Disciple-Maker Training held at Maradi; pray that the training will be sustained and create good impact in the lives of the participants.
CAMEROON: Pray for the formation of a genuinely Evangelical Association of Churches in Cameroon that will enhance quality discipline growth.
TUESDAY 19TH BENIN REPUBLIC
- Pray for a successful completion of ECWA Benin Republic official registration.
- Pray for the provision of two buses for the ministry in Benin.
- Pray for provision of Church lands for ECWA Benin.
THE GAMBIA: Pray that Gambian Christians will be concerned and burdened about the salvation of their people and join God’s Soul-Winning Harvest force.
WEDNESDAY 20TH TOGO:
- Pray for God's providence for the building of Mission Church in Kaboli (N2,000.000.00).
- Let’s not relent in Praying for God to provide EMS of ECWA Togo with a vehicle for the purpose of Mission work; also, pray for the provision of about (N3,500,000). For Two hectares of land urgently needed for Togo ECWA Headquarters.
KENYA: Pray for God to touch the government of Kenya so that they would lift the ban placed on registration of Churches to enable the registration of ECWA Kenya. Pray for the provision of a bus for the ministry in ECWA Kenya and for finances to facilitate the registration processes.
THURDAY 21ST BURKINA FASO: Pray for provision of mobility for Pastor Joshua Thomas and for safety for him as he travels to different fields to reach out to the Fulanis. Ask God to direct, sanctify, and govern him and his family in their work, so that the Gospel of Christ may be truly preached, truly received, and truly followed in all their target areas.
ZAMBIA: Pray that God should sustain the growth of the fellowship among the taxi drivers in the city of Zambia and for more grace on Rev. Yusuf Kuzaswat and his family as they labor among these people. Pray for the unity of pastors, churches and denominations in Zambia.

FRIDAY 22ND CHAD REPUBLIC: Pray that as our missionaries in this country continue to follow up those that turned to Christ, that they would grow in faith and take a stand for Jesus when faced with trials.
MALI:-The Bozo leave in small villages on the edge of the Niger River in Mali. During raining season, most of these villages are only accessible by boat. Bozo men and boys make a leaving through fishing while women raise and sale vegetables and tobacco. They are semi-nomadic people who travel the river looking for the best fishing spot. Though they claim Islam, the bozos still follow many traditional religious practices, including sacrifices to ancestral spirits and the water gods “Faro”:

- Pray that God would enable believers to develop close relationships with these Bozos
- Pray that as the Bozo accept the truth of Jesus Christ, their nomadic way of life would become a key in spreading the gospel across West Africa. Ask God to transform the lives of the Bozo so that these “fishers in Mali” would become “fishers of men”.
SATURDAY 23RD MALAWI
- Pray that the discipleship training on the book “Creation to Christ” would yield lasting fruit in the life of the participants.
- Pray for God’s provision towards the adoption of seven more indigenous as missionaries in Malawi.
GHANA: Thank God for the success of the three days prayer, teaching and reviewing of EMS missionaries work retreat that was held in February; pray that the spiritual nourishment and fellowship sheared will enable the missionaries to be more effective in their ministry.
WEEK FOUR-FOCUSES ON CHURCH GROWTH AND REVIVAL
SUNDAY 24TH Pray that God would teach us to make the most of every opportunity to share our salvation and that He should also help us to be the fragrance of Christ to the lost at all times.
MONDAY 25TH Praise God for the growth of the church universally. Pray that God may fill it (the church) with all truth, and peace. Pray that where it is corrupt, He should purify; where it is in error, He should direct it; where it is divided, He should reunite it; for the sake of Jesus Christ His son, and our Lord.
TUESDAY 26TH Pray that the Prince of peace may give us Christians grace to seriously lay to heart the great dangers we are in by our unhappy division. Ask that God takes away all hatred and prejudice, and whatsoever else may hinder us from Godly union and concord, so we may be all of one heart and may with one mind and one mouth glorify him.
WEDNESDAY 27TH MRS. TAMBAYA YAHAYA: Pray that the Lord will increase upon her the grace, wisdom and strength to function effectively in her office as the EMS receptionist. Also, pray for her family for Gods increasing favor and divine protection.
THURSDAY 28TH JOSEPH HEMAN; Thank God for the life of Bro. Joseph the EMS account clerk. Pray that God should grant him sound health and also increase upon Him Grace for effective and selfless work in 2016.
FRIDAY 29TH Pray for ECWA Radio and T.V Ministry for the Holy Spirit's leading, as a lot of work is going on for the take-off of this very important ministry.
SATURDAY 30TH CHURCH/HOMES: Pray that God should bless his church with honorable leaders who have sound learning, and pure manners, Pray that he endue us with the spirit of wisdom and that they may be peace and increasing joy in our Christian homes and that through obedience to his law, we may show forth his praise among the nations of the earth.
NOTE:April 20-22, 2016 has being slated for special Prayer and Fasting for the success of the 2016 1st EMS Mission Week of Prayer.
