WEEK ONE – FOCUS IS ON PRAISE/THANKSGIVING FROM HOME AND CROSSBOARDER MISSION FIELDS
Praise the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits." Ps 103:2
 
SATURDAY 1ST
Praise God for provision of missionary housing in two of our Mission Stations located in katsina state under the Far North Region.

SUNDAY 2ND
Praise God for delivering one of our missionaries in Dan’saddau area in the Far North Region from attempted kidnap.
NOTE: WE ARE FASTING TOMORROW
FIRST (1ST) MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH IS TO BE OBSERVED NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY AS EMS PRAYER AND FASTING DAY. THERERFORE, ALL EMS ARMS, MISSIONARIES, OFFICE STAFF, PRAYER PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS SHOULD PLEASE ENDEAVOR TO JOIN THE EMS INTERNATIONAL HEAD OFFICE IN PRAYERS. AS WE JOIN FAITH AND TRUST GOD IN ONE ACCORD WITH BRETHREN AROUND THE WORLD FOR A STEADY AND A FRUITFUL GROWTH OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD, PEACE AND THE SALVATION OF NATIONS, FOR REVIVAL AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH OF THE CHURCH. OUR COOPERATE PRAYER TIME AT THE HEAD OFFICE, IS 8-9AM, 12-1PM, AND 3-4 PM RESPECTIVELY. YOU CAN JOIN US IN PRAYERS WHEREVER YOU MAY BE AT THOSE TIMES OR MAKE OUT TIME OF YOUR OWN CONVENIENCE AS YOU ARE LED TO BY GOD. PLEASE. JUST BE SURE TO PRAY ALONG AS YOU FAST.

MONDAY 3RD
Praise God for the successful planting of a new growing mission station at Tudun Kwashiru in the Mid-East Region.
 
TUESDAY 4TH
Praise God for successes and answered prayers recorded in the evangelistic outreach carried out in some selected unreached areas in the Mid-East Region.

WEDNESDAY 5TH
Praise God for the successful completion of supporters’ forum in Miango DCC and for the licensing of some of our missionaries in Bukuru, Yelwa and Toro DCC.
 
THURSDAY 6TH
Praise God for the financial provisions through his servants towards the building of the EMS Coordinator’s house in Waja DCC in the North East Region. Pray that every other pending need to this effect will be met.
 
FRIDAY 7TH
Praise God for a successful South East Regional Mission Field Outreach, through which many people were reached. Ask the Lord to sustain converts and those who rededicate their lives. SATURDAY 8TH: Praise God for the establishment of a Mission Field School in Ishiagu in Ebonyi State. Ask the Lord to sustain the School as plans are ongoing to enroll more pupils in September.
WEEK TWO – FOCUS IS ON HOME MISSION FIELDS.
“Those who manifest wisdom will shine like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who turn many to righteousness will shine like the stars for ever and ever”. Daniel 12:3
SUNDAY 9TH
SOUTH NORTH EAST REGION-JALINGO : The son of our missionary, Pastor Eliazer Arewa was bitten by a snake, pray for total healing for the child and for God’s continuous protection of missionaries working in rural areas from the attacks of reptiles.
 
MONDAY 10TH
FAR NORTH WEST REGION-MALUNFASHI: Pray for Pastor Audu who lost his daughter and for the family of Mr. Judge Bango one of EMS’ sponsors whom the Lord call to glory. Ask that God will comfort the family and the entire EMS family.
 
TUESDAY 11TH
MID-EAST REGION-LAFIA: Pray for God’s power of true repentance in Mission station like koti shangev where a woman killed her child because of her husband’s infidelity; also for Ishibori mission station where occultism is on the increase day by day. Please continue to pray for God’s intervention.
 
WEDNESDAY 12TH
Pray for God’s continuous protection in kasuwan magani
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
NORTH WEST REGION – KADUNA:
  • Pray for God’s continuous protection in kasuwan magani against incessant attacks. Praise God for the safety of our missionaries in the recent attack in this area.
  • Pray for all supporters in Kaduna, especially those who have not remitted their support for their missionaries’ salaries that God will provide for them so they could meet up with their commitment.
 
THURSDAY 13TH
NORTH CENTRAL REGION – JOS:
  • Let’s pray for God’s protection over his children in Zabolo DCC, especially our missionaries and their mission stations as it has been reported that some areas were recently attacked by Fulani herdsmen.
 
FRIDAY 14TH
MID CENTRAL REGION – KAGORO: Ask the Lord for financial open doors, to enable this region complete her regional coordinator’s house project. Also pray for provision of motor cycle for our missionary, Pas Jonathan Dauje whose motor cycle was stolen. Pray that those who stole the motor cycle. Will encounter the Lord.
 
SATURDAY 15TH
SOUTH EAST REGION – UMUAHIA:
  • The demand for missionaries is on the increase in this region. Pray for missionaries to be sent to this region.
  • Pray for funds for the completion of the place of worship which foundation was laid on the 17th of May in Isiagu.
WEEK THREE – FOCUS ON OTHER EMS MISSION ARMS
SUNDAY 16TH
EMS FIELD SCHOOLS: Field Schools are very good channels through which communities are reached with the gospel, especially children. Thank God for EMS missionary Teachers who are working in all these mission field schools. Ask the Lord to encourage them and also grant them excellent spirit and patience as they teach very low level and under schooled children in these rural places.
 
MONDAY 17TH
EMS CHILDREN SCHOOL: Ask the Lord to grant success to our children in JSS3 (Grade 9) who are currently writing their JSCE Examination; also those who are writing the common entrance into various secondary schools by September 2017.
 
TUESDAY 18TH
EMS CRISES RELIEF & PROJECT UNIT:
Pray that the persecuted churches may:
  • Remain strong in faith and trust God despite physical and psychological abuse
  • Walk humbly in their identification with Christ’s sufferings
  • Be fruitful witnesses to others
  • Be able to balance their standing up for their rights, yet responding in grace and love
  • Retain their faith and hope in the Lord.
 
WEDNESDAY 19TH
EMS SPORT UNIT: A handful number of unbelievers are falling in love with sports and many practice it as life occupation:
  • Ask God to send people into their lives to witness to them (Matt. 9:38).
  • Ask God to open their spiritual eyes (2 Cor. 4:4).
  • Ask God to give them ears to hear (Matt. 13:15)
  • Ask God to give them faith to believe (Acts 20:21).
  • Ask God to give them the will to respond (Rom. 10:9).
 
THURSDAY 20TH
EMS CITY MINISTRIES:
  • Pray for God’s wisdom on the Leadership of EMS City Ministries as they keep seeking to rescue abandoned kids, street boys and Girls and other categories of handicap people they are reaching out to.
  • Ask the Lord to provide funds, food, volunteers, different amenities and educational materials that are needed to keep the orphanages and ministries functioning
FRIDAY 21ST
M.B/ CONVERTS – Pray that they:
  • Receive help to grow spiritually
  • Are protected and provided for, should their family or community turn against them.
  • Will have the courage to lead others to know Christ.
 
SATURDAY 22ND
EMS MEDICAL UNIT:
  • Pray for God’s superintending hand to be manifested as EMS health worker minister to patient in various filed.
  • Pray for God’s wisdom to enable them diagnose properly and administer the right treatment at all times.
WEEK FOUR: FOCUS ON CROSS BORDERS MISSION FIELDS
"I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” Luke 4:43-44 NIV
 
SUNDAY 23RD
INAUGURATION OF ZAMBIA & MALAWI:
  • Let’s keep praying for the inauguration of ECWA Zambia and Malawi by the last quarter of this year (2017). Ask the Lord to provide everything that will be needed in this regards.
 
MONDAY 24TH
REPUBLIC OF MALI:
  • Let’s keep praying for God’s increasing favor on Rev. & Mrs. Ishaku Amah-kabong for effectiveness in their ministry in Mali, especially the prison’s ministry.
  • Pray for the women and children who attend their English school to believe the Gospel and also have the courage to respond.
 
TUESDAY 25TH
NIGER REPUBLIC:
  • Pray for the growth of the campus ministry amongst University Students -Fellowship of Christian Students- FCS (Scripture Union).
  • Pray for increased commitment from the members of 1st ECWA Maradi, Niger Republic to the work of God and that God will continue to bless and cause them to succeed in their studies.
 
WEDNESDAY 26TH
BENIN REPUBLIC:
  • Pray for the progress of the mission work at Porto Novo field, in Benin Republic and also for God to provide the field with a worship place as well a Church land.
  • Pray for the couple (Mr. Sunday and family) who are taking care of the Porto Novo mission field for God's provision and divine protection upon their lives.
  • Pray for God's divine healing and total deliverance upon the wife of Rev. Amos Olugbenga and also bless them with the fruit of the womb.
 
THURSDAY 27TH
ZAMBIA:
Thank God for the Life and calling of Lucky Chilufiya and Aubrey A. Mwange whom the Lord is preparing for ministry through discipleship and mentorship under the leadership of Rev. Yusuf Kuzasuwat our EMS Missionary in Zambia.
 
FRIDAY 28TH
GHANA
  • Thank God for the successful annual Pastors' retreat in Ghana, Pray that the lessons learnt by participant will be applied to practical ministry.
  • Thank God for the victory given to ECWA Ghana over the outstanding court case for the recovery of house rent. To God be the glory the rent has been fully recovered, Hallelujah!!!
 
SATURDAY 29TH
GHANA:
  • Thank God for the growth of the Zenu prayer house in Ghana and the moral/financial support that the Church receives from Trustee Dr. Abwaku Englama.
  • Pray that God will provide funds towards accommodation for the Ghana national missionaries.
  • Pray for the Zenu Church to raise funds to purchase spacious land for the church and the development of ECWA Mission Academy in Ghana.
 
WEEK FIVE: FOCUS ON OTHER PRAYER NEEDS
 
SUNDAY 30TH
MISSIONARY KIDS AROUND THE WORLD:
  • Ask the Lord to raise up MKs that will lead the way for justice, godliness, Evangelism and for the filling of the power of the spirit. (Luke 4:19-19; Isaiah 61:1-2).
  • Also pray that God would fill our MK with joy, thankfulness, and strength of character, in spite their different cultural backgrounds.
 
MONDAY 31TH
EMS RETIREES:
Ask the Lord to grant our retirees the grace to develop a full schedule of regular preaching and Bible study, evangelizing to the lost, visiting the sick, counseling, or any ministry opportunity the Lord may grand them to carry out.. Also prayer for wisdom and good health as they rest and also serve the Lord.
