Takeaway
Luke 8:39
Return to your home,
and declare how much God has done for you.

Galilee the deep blue waters of a freshwater lake still roll and splash happily in a tropical sun, wordlessly testifying to the calming voice and certain promises of Jesus who assures us all of safe arrival on the opposite shore of our storms. Today, the Sea of Galilee, an important Christian and Jewish pilgrimage site, covers roughly 160 square kilometres (62 square miles) and is located 200 metres (656 feet) below sea level. “The man from whom the demons had gone begged that he might be with him, but Jesus sent him away, saying, “Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you.” And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him. Luke 8:38-39 (ESV)

Today’s Prayer
Dear Jesus, we know you commands us to cross over your river, but we have doubt we can stand safely on the other side. We believe you did not promise us a storm-free passage, but knows you guarantee us arrival. We know our greatest threat during all these stormy days is not the winds and waves, but rather our unbelief. Make a believer out of all of us Lord and heal all your children that are involved in ghastly auto accident, especially Dr. James Auta.

EMS of ECWA Prayer
Thank God for the sufficient grace he has given our missionaries in the region to fulfill the divine mandate despite mounting challenges especially the constant attacks by Fulani militias in the mid-central Nigeria, over 600 people were witnessed to and 59 gave their lives to Christ while 54 rededicated their lives for God. Ask the Lord to uphold them in the faith.
