WEEK ONE-FOCUS ON PRAISE/THANKSGIVING
“ Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness”. Ps. 150:2.NIV
 
WEDNESDAY 1ST Give unto the Lord the glory due unto His Name for His sustaining Grace and mercy on EMS/ECWA, and Nigeria as a nation these past five months. Praise Him for lunching us into the Mid-Year. Worship Him for all the great things He has done.
 
THURSDAY 2ND Thank God for the successful Mission awareness in Gidan Waya, Zagun DCCs last month and for the success of EMS Week of Prayers observed nationally and in some of our Churches outside the country.

FRIDAY 3RD Praise God for the recovery of a stolen motorcycle belonging to our missionary in Keffi DCC. Let us keep praying for the safety of our missionaries in the Mid-East region with their families, as they are often threatened by the Fulani headsmen.
 
SATURDAY 4TH Thank God for the miraculous deliverance of Pastor Francoise Amouzouk of Zanguera Mission Field in Togo, who was knocked down by a motor bike, after which a car drove over him but he was not hurt, though he was unconscious for couple of hours, but after then he came back alive, strong and hearty. It was really a miracle.
WEEK TWO-FOCUS IS ON EMS ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE AND HOME MISSION FIELDS
“Woe unto me if I preach not the gospel” I Cor.9:16
SUNDAY 5TH NORTH-WEST REGION-KADUNA:-Thank God, for the successful Mission Field visit with 15 supporters to Boko Mission Fields. In addition, thank God for Jeremiah Ibrahim, Danjuma Mallam, and Ishaku Sankwa who have join the supporting team from this Region. Pray that Lord should bless their work and help them to be committed.

NOTE: WE ARE FASTING TOMORROW
FIRST (1ST) MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH IS TO BE OBSERVED NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY AS EMS PRAYER AND FASTING DAY. THERERFORE, ALL EMS ARMS, MISSIONARIES, OFFICE STAFF, PRAYER PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS SHOULD PLEASE ENDEAVOR TO JOIN THE EMS INTERNATIONAL HEAD OFFICE IN PRAYERS. AS WE TRUST GOD TO BE JOINING FAITH IN ONE ACCORD WITH BRETHREN AROUND THE WORLD IN PRAYERS FOR A STEADY AND A FRUITFUL GROWTH OF EMS, PEACE AND THE SALVATION OF NATIONS, AND FOR REVIVAL AND SPIRITUAL GROWTH OF THE CHURCH. OUR COPERATE PRAYER TIME AT THE HEAD OFFICE, IS 8-9AM, 12-1PM, AND 3-4PM RESPECTIVELY. YOU CAN JOIN US IN PRAYERS WHEREVER YOU MAY BE AT THOSE TIMES OR MAKE OUT TIME OF YOUR OWN CONVENIENCE PLEASE AS YOU ARE LED TO BY GOD. JUST BE SURE TO PRAY ALONG AS YOU FAST.

MONDAY 6TH FAR NORTH REGION- MALUMFASHI: Pray for God’s healing on Mrs. Ado Dango a missionary with Kano DCC, who is critically ill and is recommended for a surgery at Bingham University Teaching Hospital. Pray for the provision of ₦800,000 urgently needed for her surgery.
 
TUESDAY 7TH SOUTH NORTH EAST, TARABA: – Pray for God’s sustaining grace on the following new converts: Abdul Salam Adamu, and Mohammad Sani, Safiyanu Isah. Their families are currently persecuting them. Also, pray that the Lord should use them as seeds for their families’ conversion. WEDNESDAY 8TH:– MID-EAST-LAFIA: – Pray for provisions for the Church and Pastorium building in the following places: Bakin Rijiya, Poly (need a land), Anguwan Mangu, Bukan Angulu, Kadarko, Sabon Gida, Igbabo, Miga and lastly Rafin Ganye, a new station that was given a piece of land for their Church building by someone.

THURSDAY 9TH CENTRAL REGION-GARKI: – Pray for God’s sustaining grace on 94 converts made in the month of May in our various mission stations in this region.

FRIDAY 10TH NORTH EAST, GOMBE: Thank God, for the life of Pastor Ahmed K. Siyasa the new EMS missionary to Chibok in Borno state. Pray for God’s protection for him and his Family and pray for the unreached people group in Chibok. In addition, pray for God’s sustaining grace on the Believers there.

SATURDAY 11TH EMS MIDICAL UNIT: This Unit is in dire need of ₦1, 575,000 for the purchase of Medical equipments needed to enhance service delivery in the EMS Children School Clinics in Jos, Lakweme and Kufana. Pray for God’s provision towards meeting these needs. Rev. Mathias Mai Coordinator for Kaltungo was involved in an accident and brock his arm. Pray for speedy recovery for him.

EMS SPORTS FRIENDS UNIT: – Prayer is needed for Burga station in Bauchi State where Rev. Solomon D. Maina is working. The families of sport friends’ team members who are unbelievers often threatened to kill them if they eventually become Christians. Pray that God would enable them to take a bold step of confessing Jesus as the Lord of their lives.

WEEK THREE-FOCUS ON CROSS BOARDERS MISSION FIELDS "I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” Luke 4:43-44 NIV
 
SUNDAY 12TH Praise God for the progressive mission activities of the Cross Boarders’ Missionaries. Ask the Lord to grace missionaries across the boarders to sustain a consistent spiritual life and be fruitful in their ministry work. Also, pray that the Lord would sustain upon our converts in all EMS Cross Boarders’ Mission Fields and the Churches the burden for holy living and consistent witnessing.

MONDAY 13TH MALI:- Pray for Pastor and Mrs. Amah Ishaku, EMS new Missionary couple to Mali for God’s grace for them to minister effectively and that He should make their ministry among the Malians fruitful.

TUESDAY 14th: GHANA: – 10 fields have been identified for Evangelism and Church planting in all the regions in Ghana. Pray for us, as we trust God to open up new stations in Ghana Mission field for Evangelism, Discipleship and Evangelism.

WEDNESDAY 15TH CHAD REPUBLIC: – Pray for God’s financial providence to enable the digging of wells in 22 villages that are in critical need of good water.

THURSDAY 16TH MALAWI: Pray for provision and success for the reprinting of the track “4 categories of people” for use in Malawi. This evangelistic track has proven to be very powerful and effective for witnessing/evangelism in Malawi. Pray that more souls will be won through this track.

FRIDAY 17TH During an Evangelic Crusade at Mbarndake, in Cameroon, a well renowned old fetish woman of 84 years accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. In order to attest to the reality of her newfound faith, she brought all her charms and surrendered them to be burnt. Praise God for such a mighty turn around, she is now a new person in Christ Jesus, and in the process of discipleship. Do pray for her spiritual growth.

SATURDAY 18TH Sister Tebete Fluoresce, who is from an ATR family in Dwala, Cameroon, accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and this sparked up a serious opposition from her family members. In annoyance, her parents told her "since she refuses to remain with them she will never be pregnant all the days of her life until she renounces her so-called newfound faith". To God's glory, the Church took the challenge upon her by praying for God's intervention and the Lord responded, today sister Tebete fluoresce carries eight months old pregnancy. Glory be to God who has proved Himself mighty over the decree of men. Please do pray for her safe delivery in Jesus mighty name.
WEEK FOUR-CHURCH GROWTH AND REVIVAL
SUNDAY 19TH Pray for ECWA Church pastors, elders and sub-group leaders Nationwide for strength; that Christ will continue to dwell in their hearts by faith; pray that they will have an indepth understanding of God's love and lead as such. Pray that they shall be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God to do missions.

MONDAY 20TH Pray for God's increasing blessings on All EMS missionaries’ wives. Pray that He should increase upon them the grace to persevere and keep being supportive.

TUESDAY 21ST: Pray that EMS missionaries and other mission agencies e.g Capro, NEMA SIM will experience consistent Spiritual and Ministry growth. Pray that they may find favor with God and men and thus be able to mobilize resources for the ministry.

WEDNESDAY 22ND Pray that converts in all our mission stations/fields will know and experience God better; that their eyes may be enlightened to know the hope to which God has called them; to the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints and His power for us who believe.

THURSDAY 23RD Pray that missionaries ministering away from their home country (foreign missionaries) will be strengthened with the might and power of God so that they may have great endurance, patience, and joy and be thankful at all times.

FRIDAY 24TH: Ask the Lord to grant ECWA ministers consistent victory over every strong hold of wickedness that is waging war against their spiritual growth, their Ministry fruitfulness and Evangelism. Pray that God would teach us to make the most of every opportunity to share our salvation and that He should help us to be the fragrance of Christ to the lost at all times.
 
SATURDAY 25TH: Pray that Church leaders in Nigeria will nurture a strong passion for Mission/Evangelism: Pray that they will be able to discern what is best for Nigerian Church and that God will keep them pure and blameless, fill them with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Christ.

WEEK FIVE-FOCUSES ON THE NATIONS
Our world is in trouble. From sea to shining sea, we are witnessing the devolution of nations. The world is quickly becoming the divided world. Disunity and conflict abound. Family breakdown, the immigration crisis, the threat of terrorism, an abiding racial divide and political dysfunction all point to a deeper problem. Regardless of which side of the political aisle you sit on, it is clear: Things are unraveling at warp speed. Like never before, we must pray for our nations and her leaders.
SUNDAY 26TH: Praise God for His sustaining Grace on Nigeria as a Nation during this one year under the administration of president Buhari.

MONDAY 27TH: NIGERIA: Ask the Lord to continuously be close to our president and our states men; give them vision and courage, as they ponder and make decisions affecting peace, economy and the future of Nigeria.
 
TUESDAY 28TH: PERSONAL: Ask the Lord to make you more deeply aware of your heritage; realizing not only your rights but also your duties and responsibilities as a citizen of your Country.
 
WEDNESDAY 29TH: Mrs. Peace Offia: -Thank God for the life of Mrs. Peace. Pray that the Lord would increase upon her the grace, wisdom and strength to function effectively in her office as the EMS wages. Also, pray for her family for God’s increasing favor and divine protection.
 
THURSDAY 30TH:Mrs. Ochai Salome: – Thank God, for the life of Mrs. Salome the EMS Cashier and family for safety and provisions. Pray for God’s constant protections and favor as she handles funds and relates with banks. Pray that God should grant her sound health, wisdom and increase upon Her Grace for effective and selfless work. Also, Pray for the speedy recovery of Mildred, her daughter who went through surgery in the month May 2016.
