What is God’s Love Language?

But Samuel replied: “Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the voice of the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams. 1Sam. 15:22
What is God's Love Language?

God’s love language is OBEDIENCE which He revealed in many passages in the Bible like John 14:23,24:
Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching… Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching.” Gary Chapman’s 5 Love Languages work well for human relationships. It is important to discover your spouse’s main love language from the five and “speak” it all the time otherwise your acts of Affirmation, Gifts, Service, Quality Time or Touch will not be appreciated much.

God has only ONE Love language: OBEDIENCE. And Obedience = Love = Obedience. God does not need Affirmation. Jesus shut down demons from affirming Him as the Son of God. As for Gifts, He tells us to take them away from His altar as they are disgusting to Him. It is the same with service, He does not need help from us for He created all things and sustains them by His word. For Quality Time, we will not even get a minute to have fellowship with God if we are living in sin. Disobedience is sin. As for Touch, that is impossible. God is Spirit, we are in the flesh.

God is Holy and we are not and cannot approach Him except through Christ. I pray that during this Coronavirus pandemic we will all “speak” God’s love language (OBEDIENCE), He will quickly heal us.
